Shield, a UK mergers advisory specialist has formed an alliance with Japan's venture capital company Softbank Investment Corporation and Tianyi Securities of China to cooperate on M&A advice for clients, Shield said on Thursday.
The three firms will refer clients to one another for advice on mergers and corporate strategy.
Tianyi Securities, based in Shanghai, is China's fourth largest securities firm by net earnings. It provides a range of investment banking services, including corporate finance advice, securities underwriting and online trading.
Softbank has investments in mostly internet-related companies in Japan and overseas.
