Shield is delighted to have advised the co-owners of Marquee Oil Broking Ltd, Adam Trehane and Curtis Wingren, on the sale of their physical fuel oil brokerage firm to global brokerage house Marex Spectron.
The deal provided the buyer, a commodities and derivatives trading giant, with a valuable window on physical fuel oil flows.
This was the culmination of a confidential auction process which sees the founders selling their shares but continuing to apply their trading talents with their team inside the new parent network.
